Academics

At Mount Pleasant, we take the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) at the end of grade 7 and in addition, the school has its own internal syllabi on all the subjects which includes Computer Awareness to broaden the knowledge base of children. The computer awareness subject is offered from reception to standard 7. Each defined subject is taught separately with regard to themes and cross –curricular links. Also strong emphasis is placed on the teaching of the basics in English and Mathematics, addition to the range of subjects taught throughout the school.

At the completion of their schooling here, the pupils sit for the National Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) for entry into junior secondary school.

All class teachers at Mount Pleasant School are fully trained and qualified, with diplomas and degrees from recognized educational institutions.
